About Jen

I am an author and stay at home mom.

I started this blog to have a place to put product reviews since I'm a mom and, well, I have opinions on things. So, just think of this as a friendly, what I like and don't like review blog. If you would like me to review your product, just email me at jen @ jen-hancock dot com

As for my other stuff - you can find me on the web at: www.jen-hancock.com

My other blog is: humanisthappiness.blogspot.com  - that contains short posts designed to inspire people to be better human beings.

I also have a couple of books out: The Humanist Approach to Happiness: Practical Wisdom  and Jen Hancock's Handy Humanism Handbook

You may also be interested in other books and products I think are interesting and worth considering.  Check out my amazon store at: http://astore.amazon.com/sumogirl-20

If you are interested in any of my books or programs - here are the details:

The Humanist Approach to Happiness Life Skills Course by Jennifer Hancock: Living Made Simpler

I'm pretty excited to be able to offer a 6 week Humanist life skills course!

While I cannot guarantee that you will be happy all the time after taking this course, what I can promise you is that you will have a better understanding of what sort of person you want to be and why. You will probably also find that you have a renewed dedication to living your life the way you already know you should be living it, fully, and intentionally. Topics covered include: Ethics, Critical Thinking, Compassion, Responsibility and Coping.

My first book is called "The Humanist Approach to Happiness: Practical Wisdom." It is a book aimed at teens and young adults. The first part of the book is the hows and whys of the Humanist philosophy - don't worry, it's not boring - I teach you all about how to be a dork - seriously I do.  The 2nd half applies those principles to real life - things like dating, your health, grief and well, life.  So please check it out - you won't be disappointed.

Check it out at: http://happiness.jen-hancock.com/

My second book is a short ebook called Jen Hancock's Handy Humanism Handbook. It's a short and hopefully sweet introduction to the philosophy of Humanism.  If you want to get a free copy - join my mailing list. Otherwise it is available for 99c at all the ebook stores or you can get a paperback edition for about $6.00.

I also created a DVD called "An Introduction to Humanism"  It is designed for use by Humanist groups to provide introductions to their members.  You can see the entire series for free online at my youtube site. The DVD really is just for use in presentation settings, or for people who don't like looking at things on youtube.

Details on the DVD are at: http://introdvd.jen-hancock.com/
